will smith's misguided impression of Chivalry

Sticks and stones

May break my bones

but names will never hurt me.

"Jada, I love ya, GI JANE2 can't wait to see ya, aright?"

Camera cuts to will smith (best actor nominee) laughing, pans to jada pinkett smith clasping her hands giving a frosty side eye to Chris Rock.

"Aw come on that was a nice one! Ok, I'm out here...uh oh!"

Up walks will smith and slaps Chris Rock solidly across the left side of his face, turned around, returned to his seat as if what he had just done was an entirely normal and acceptable way to respond to a joke that may have been in poor taste.

It didn't stop there though. When Chris Rock attempted to explain that he meant no offense, Smith yelled

"Keep my wife's name out yo fucking mouth!"

In case Rock didn' t hear inside the now shocked into silence theater, Smith yelled it again,

(as if the director voice inside his head had said "Uh will, we need another take and this time can you put more emphasis on the word FUCKING?") Smith complied and yelled it again.

Immediately following Chris Rock's delivery of the GI JANE2 line, will smith, when he finished laughing at it, had numerous options. He could, sit back, console his wife Jada by saying

"Sorry baby, I don't think Chris Rock meant anything by it"

He could have heckled Chris with something like,

"YO MAMA  A  GI JANE2,  NIGGA!"

OR

will smith could have done nothing.

The moment would have passed going unnoticed as Chris Rock presented QuestLove his Best Original Documentary award for Summer of Soul.

But that's not what happened as everyone inside the Dolby Theater that night can attest. And later as millions of viewers of the UNCENSORED version of events witnessed.

We were also privy to Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry, during the commercial break, with their arms around a visibly upset will smith, consoling him like two mother hens.

"There there my brother, you taught that awful Chris Rock a most valuable lesson!"

A spokesperson for the Academy said that immediately following the slap, Smith had been asked to leave but he refused.

So whatever were they to do?

You know, like when a bouncer comes up to you in a club because you're acting like an arrogant asshole and says,

"Sir, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave"

"I'm not going anywhere! I ain' t leaving!"

"Oh ok, well then I'll just go back to my place at the door."

About 40 minutes later that night, The best actor award was announced and the winner was will smith.

His colleagues rose to their feet to give him a standing ovation.

He bounded up to stage and began an acceptance speech that rambled on for about 6 minutes about how he's:

"overwhelmed at what god has called on me to do and be in this world"

See?  GOD himself calls will smith!

With tears streaming down his face he also repeated the word "protect" regarding his role as a father, husband, superhero, numerous times.

"to love people and to protect people..."

"I want to be a river to my people. I want to be a vessel of love, an ambassador of love, care and concern. "

then made an apology to the academy, and everyone else there EXCEPT for Chris Rock, the comedian smith assaulted.

"I look like the crazy father, love will make you do crazy things!"

Bottom line is this: You don' t slap the comedian! His words may have been emotionally hurtful to jada pinkett smith but they were only words; her emotional trauma would most likely have healed by the first commercial break.

will smiths's decision to interrupt Chris Rock, walk on stage and slap him across the face confirmed the stereotype that every white racist has about how blacks can't control themselves and will immediately resort to violence when challenged in any way.

Just look at all the DAILY violent black on black crime that our liberal mainstream media seeks to downplay.

There are also impressionable young people of every color who look up to will smith as a role model. His behavior gave them the green light to smack someone who might say something they take offense to.

Smith's own son, Jaden tweeted:

To which I replied:

Ironically will smith was awarded for being the Best Actor. In reality, he has been pretending to be in control all along when he is very close to being unhinged and possibly even more violent.

In the aftermath, the academy has vowed to convene and review smith's behavior to see what (if any) disciplinary action it will take.

This really amounts to closing the barn door after the horse is long gone.

This oscars show and wll smith's actions illustrates what usa is:

A country that trumpets its own self worth with a veneer of love and compassion when in reality, it is a violent melting pot, filled with divisiveness waiting to boil over.

There are tons of products out there that make ourtrageous claims. The best way to judge what actually works though is by results.

Alejandro Alende dropped the ball singing UNDER PRESSURE

UNDER PRESSURE

Songs are stories. About life.

Under Pressure, a collaboration by Freddy Mercury and David Bowie, is a very meaningful song. It’s about humankind's’ struggle to survive.
On American Idol, Alejandro Aranda did not do justice to this song. He rendered it meaningless. Just musical noises with nothing behind the words. He omitted the final line, which is probably THE most important sentiment in the entire song.

“Because love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the (People on streets) edge of the night
And love (People on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance

This is ourselves under pressure.”
Some songs are just pop, just pleasant little vignettes of sentiment that make you smile, but this particular song goes deeper than that. It invokes thought. It paints a picture of people trying to survive. It repeats the sentiment,

“it’s the TERROR of knowing what this world is about, watching some good friends scream LET ME OUT.”

I was particularly disappointed because I admire Alejandro Aranda’s talent. He sings very well and plays both guitar and piano quite capably. But when an artist chooses a song, he or she should sing it with the passion that the words convey. The artist needs to understand the story they're telling.

here are the full lyrics to the song:

[Verse 1: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]

Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets

[Bridge: Freddie Mercury]
Um ba ba be
Um ba ba be
De day da
Ee day da- that's okay

[Chorus: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
It's the terror of knowing what this world is about
Watching some good friends screaming, "Let me out!"
Pray tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets

It's the terror of knowing what this world is about
Watching some good friends screaming, 'Let me out'
Pray tomorrow gets me higher, high
Pressure on people, people on streets

[Bridge: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love but it's so slashed and torn
Why, why, why?
Love, love, love, love, love
Insanity laughs under pressure we're breaking

[Verse 3: Freddie Mercury]
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love, give love, give love?

[Outro: David Bowie]
Because love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the (People on streets) edge of the night
And love (People on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure

Anti Semitism? No Anti-Zionism and Pro Humanity.

Why does Israel get a pass?
Their blatant human rights violations against the Palestinian people are massive.

The Israeli government violates territorial treaties. Bulldozes Palestinian’s homes to make way for Israeli settlements.

The Israeli army murders peaceful protesters in cold blood.

Israel has the world’s largest open air prison, the walled in city of Gaza where hopelessness and desperation to all who live there is enforced by the ever present idf (Israeli defense force). And the daily humiliation of numerous checkpoints, random searches, tear gas, snipers etc.

And when ANY American in a position of influence raises an objection, they are immediately branded as “anti-semites”

The American mainstream media for the most part are also on board with the practice of holding Israel free from criticism. The most blatant recent example at the time of this writing is that the Israeli police are poised to arrest their Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu for bribery after an extensive investigation. I learned of this from international sources. Yet on the day this story was reported, not one of the major “news” networks, abc, cbs, nbc, fox, cnn, made mention of it. Not a peep from the New York Times either.

The United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, continuously berates the Palestinian people and criticizes the entire body of the United Nations for “unfairly singling Israel out for its human rights violations”.

So why the blinders as far as Israel goes?

Further, why are United States citizens tax payer money, extracted from the sweat of our labor, handed over to Israel to the tune of $10 Billion USD a year?

This is not an anti-semitic tirade. My mother’s side was Jewish. Technically, that makes me a Jew.

Except for the fact that I hold all religion in utter contempt. Any belief system that is built on a foundation of a make believe deity who omnisciently observes every single being on this planet is just too ridiculous to give credence to.

“I STAND WITH ISRAEL”: Here’s what you’re really saying.

You support the Israelis who kill Palestinian men, women and children and face little or no punishment whatsoever.

You support them bombing refugee shelters, hospitals and private homes.

You support them arresting Palestinians and keeping them imprisoned with no
specified charges.

You support Israelis firing upon ANY country that attempts to bring survival supplies to the Palestinian people via boat.

You support their apartheid.

You support the Israeli government and settlers violating treaties they signed and seizing land, knocking down houses and moving in.

You support Israelis fouling the Palestinian drinking water.

You support Israelis committing slow, methodical genocide.

You don’t mind your own United States tax dollars being given to Israel to the tune of $10 Billion a year.

You do not care about human rights violations. Abuses. Torture. Flagrantly ignoring any “peace agreements”.

You have no compassion for people.

Now imagine being a Palestinian living in the open air prison that is Gaza. Imagine the daily hopelessness you have in your life.

AND if you still “stand with Israel” …

You are a pathetic human being.

PROTECTED BY BOMBS

 It’s reassuring to know
That I’m free to roam
In this land that’s my home
With no fear of foreign invasion
An impenetrable nation
We’re protected by Bombs.

Yes the sun shines brightly on you and me
And we’re all free to do as we please
In our pursuit of happiness
In this land that god does bless
We’re protected by bombs

CHORUS:
We’re protected by bombs
We’re a nation of arms
No one can do us harm
We’re protected by bombs
And the bombs our lives will defend
Until the bitter and explosive end

2nd Verse:
Then I read about Dresden Germany
And Hiroshima, Japan and Nagasaki
Suddenly the thought occurred to me
Bombs are a frightening reality

And I wondered what would happen to us all
If some opposing nation pushed our backs against the wall
I dont want to be killed in a fireball
Would that be the day the bombs would fall
And annihilate us all?

Sing out strong and sing out loud
I don’t want to be killed in a mushroom cloud
I don’t want to be killed in a fireball

I don’t want to be killed at all

The usa president elect, donald trump, feels we have a need to produce MORE nuke missiles. WHY? There are already enough to rip this planet earth we live in to shreds. More nukes is NOT the answer. NO NUKES is the ideal.

WALMART'S US RT 22 UNION , NJ BETA FISH NEGLIGENCE/ ABUSE.

IGNORED, LEFT TO DIE SLOWLY

These are LIVE BETA fish at Walmart on Route 22 in Union New Jersey.
They're left unattended, swimming in their own filth. No filtration. I wonder if they even get fed.

It's very dismal and very cruel to do to living creatures.

Further down the aisle on a wall display are clean tanks with various breeds of fish.

I'm calling attention to this in hopes that someone in Walmart's management will CORRECT this IMMEDIATELY.
